Microdosis. Research and application.

MICRODOSIS. RESEARCH AND APPLICATION.

Microdosing refers to the practice of consuming very low doses of psychedelic substances, such as LSD or psilocybin mushrooms, on a regular basis. Although the effects of microdosing are subtle and generally do not induce a full psychedelic experience.

This module is designed to acquire the fundamental concepts of microdosing and apply them to professional practice. The objective is to provide students with a comprehensive knowledge of microdosing of psychedelic substances, from its fundamentals to its practical applications, safety and ethical considerations.

Microdosing is often associated with improved mood and emotional well-being. People may experience a reduction in feelings of anxiety, depression and stress. Some people report increased mindfulness and a heightened sense of presence during microdosing. This can lead to a greater appreciation of the present moment. It can facilitate self-exploration and introspection, allowing people to gain insight into their thought patterns, emotions and behaviors. It promotes neuroplasticity, i.e., the brain's ability to adapt and reorganize itself, which could have long-term cognitive benefits.
